Ontario Arts Council has partnered with Ojibwe Cultural Foundation and the Woodland Cultural Centre to offer the Exhibition Assistance Program - Applications accepted until February 9, 2009
If you are an Aboriginal artist woring in visual arts, media arts or crafts and have a confirmed upcoming exhibition, you may be eligible for a grant of up to $1,500 through OAC's Exhibition Assistance program. (Aboriginal includes Status, Non-Status, Metis, and Inuit people). To get your application form visit http://www.arts.on.ca/Page122.aspx or contact the Ontario Arts Council to request a copy of the application by mail.

First Nations Art 2009 - Call For Entry DEADLINE March 30, at 4:00 pm
The Exhibition run from May 1 - July 5 OPENING RECEPTION - FRIDAY, MAY 1, 7 PM Established in 1975, this exhibition is one of the longest running annual exhibits that provides established and emerging FIRST NATIONS artists an excellent opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in a fine art gallery setting. The Centre is extending an invitation to all artists of First Nations ancestry to submit two works of art along with your biographical information for presentation in this year's show.
